Charlotte’s Web, founded in 2011 by the Stanley brothers from Colorado, first came to national prominence in 2013 after being featured in the CNN documentary “Weed”. The company has been committed to developing and distributing low-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), high-cannabidiol (CBD) products that contain less than 0.3 percent THC.
All their products are based on the high-CBD low-THC strain of marijuana known as Charlotte’s Web, which they developed by crossbreeding high-CBD strains of marijuana with industrial hemp.

Charlotte’s Web’s cannabidiol tincture is a full-spectrum CBD product, meaning that in addition to CBD it also contains CBC, CBG and more than 80 other phytocannabinoids. Their tinctures come in four different strength options, 7mg per 1mL, 17mg per 1mL, 50mg per 1mL and 60mg per 1mL. Charlotte’s Web’s tinctures are available in four different flavors, mint chocolate, olive oil, orange blossom and lemon twist.

Charlotte’s Web produces two different types of capsules: those containing the same types of CBD oil that goes into their tincture products and those that contain a hemp extract powder. Their liquid oil capsules come in 15mg and 25mg strengths, and their hemp powder capsules are available in 8mg and 18mg variations.
Charlotte’s Web CBD Gummies
Charlotte’s Web sells three different CBD gummy formulas tailored for sleep, relaxation or workout recovery. They also offer a “pet chews” version of their calming gummies designed to relax anxious canines.
- The CBD calm gummies are 10mg full-spectrum hemp extract products that contain 50mgs of L-theanine and 75mg of lemon balm. The formulation is intended to help reduce stress and provide better focus.
- In addition to 10mgs of CBD, the sleep gummies also contain 3mg of melatonin per gummy.
- The recovery gummies, which are specially formulated to reduce exercise-induced inflammation, contain 10mgs of CBD, 25-50mgs of ginger and 50mgs of turmeric.
The calm gummies are available in lemon lime flavor, sleep gummies in raspberry and the recovery gummies in ginger. The company uses real fruit and vegetable flavors for their gummies to keep them as natural as possible. =
Charlotte’s Web CBD Creamsand Balms
Charlotte’s Web offers topical options include a hemp-infused cream and hemp-infused balm. The cream contains 300mgs of hemp extract per ounce in addition to vitamin B5, aloe, shea butter, coconut oil and arnica. The balm is a blend of botanicals, essential oils and hemp extract.
Charlotte’s Web CBD Isolate
Unlike the majority of Charlotte’s Web’s products, which are full-spectrum hemp products, their CBD Isolate is pure CBD. Some people, especially those concerned about even the trace amounts of THC contained in full-spectrum products, should consider trying CBD Isolate instead. This product contains 20mg CBD per 1mL serving. CBD Isolate is 100 percent THC free and shouldn’t contain even the .3 percent found in the full-spectrum products.
Charlotte’s Web CBD for Dogs Products
Charlotte’s Web makes dog variants for a variety of their CBD products, including full-spectrum hemp oil extract drops, calming pet chews and specially formulated canine hemp topical balm. In addition to the dog variants of the human CBD products, Charlotte’s Web also offer a canine chew formulated for doggy cognition.
